NOTE: Guardian of John Barrington and married him to his dau.Elizabeth Bonham - according to the Barrington Family History.Incredibly in the 1634 Essex visitation, neither Elizabeth norher brother Walter, to whom Eliz was reported to be heir, arementioned. Instead there are two sons William, who m. FrancesTay and had issue, and John who dsp. The odd thing in the Essexvisitation is the addition to the Bonham arms of "a crescent fordifference".
