Individual Note

Camille et Lucile Desmoulins ont eu un fils, Horace-Camille, né le 6 juillet 1792 dont Robespierre sera le parrain lors d’un des premiers baptêmes républicains .

Il est élevé, après l’exécution de ses parents, par sa grand-mère maternelle Anne-Françoise-Marie Boisdeveix (Mme Duplessis)

En 1800, Bonaparte lui accorda une bourse d’études au Prytanée français.

En 1817, Horace Desmoulins se rend à Haïti pour monter une affaire commerciale et il y épouse Zoé Villefranche avec laquelle il aura quatre enfants. Il y meurt d’une fièvre le 29 juin 1825.
