wurde 1902 Bürger von Kleinandelfingen, CH
aus Erwin Jaeckle "die Lebenslinie" S 25: Er trat 14 jährig in der Turmuhrenfabrik Mäder AG eine Mechanikerlehre an, mußte aber im 2. Jahr die Lehre verlassen weil er zu klein und zart war für die Härten des Berufes.
Wurde dann vom Vater des Zürcher Stadtpräsidenten Emil Landholt zur Ausbildung in ein geometrischen Büro genommen. Wurde bekannt durch seine Arbeit 1898 am Winterthurer Wasseramt, 1899 anlässlich der Rigivermessung, 1900 bei der Stadtvermessung Brugg.
War von 1901 bis 1938 technischer Beamter des Kantonalen Meliorationsamtes.
