John J. and Barbara Wagoner had one of their two small sons perish on their wagon train journey to Encampment, Wyoming, in 1872. The lad was buried along the trail some where between Osceola,MO and Greeley, CO in a shallow, unmarked grave so that the Indians would not find the body.
