See note for Jean-Francois. Louis was the first Seigneur of L'Islet. As a result of the split up of land among his brothers and sisters, hewas also part owner of the Seigneurie of Bonsecours, which belonged to hisfather. Tanguay says Louis was christened in 1652. Perhaps contracted beforeVachon in February. Talbot lists this marriage as 02 NOV 1691 in one reference(14) and as 03 NOV 1682 in another (8).
