I have read your entries of Joshua Jones genealogy of 5-4-07 and
10-28-07. I am interested in info concerning Juan Fernandez Jones,
daughter of Joshua Todhunter Jones and Elizabeth Dean. She was my great
grandmother. I have ten children for them. I will list them for you.

1. Vicie Jones married William Green Jones.
2. Sara Ann (Sally) Jones, b. 16 OCT 1896 KY - d. 16 SEP 1876. Married
William Perry Johnson. Buried Shafer Cemetery, Texas Co.,MO
3. Michael Dean Jones, b. 1813 Warren Co. KY - d. 1887 MO. Married
Nancy Hunt. They are buried at Mt. Hermon Cemetery, Dent Co., MO.
4. Hiram Hudson Jones - I have found no info for him
5. Ada Louann Jones -b. 1 MAY 1815 McMinnville, Warren Co., KY - d. 08
JAN 1904. Married Benjamin Smith Wiggins. Both are buried at Mt.Hermon
Cemetery, Dent Co., MO.
6. Zellah Barentha Jones, b. 1818 TN. Married 13 June 1842 to James
Elgan Tate.
7. Elizabeth Pacific Jones, b. 7 NOV 1822 TN - d. 08 DEC 1898. Married
James Ethelbert Callahan. Both are buried at Concord Cemetery, Maples,
Texas Co., MO.
8. Clinton Jones, b. ABT 1826 TN. Married Unknown Brown. Moved to
Texas after 1840.
9. Juan Fernandes Jones, b. 1827/28 TN. Married (1) R. Mortis Lane; (2)
Joseph Cummings. [Cannot find a death date or place of burial] She is
listed in the 1880 census of Texas Co., MO. Possibly moved to Howell
Co., MO about 1885. Not in the 1900 MO. Census]
10. Oliver Perry Jones, b. ABT 1831TN. Married Mary Russel. Moved to
Texas after 1840.

I obtained some of this info from Ozark Heritage, Dent Co. Cemeteries,
Vol. III. I found also their families from census records and some
postings on rootsweb. and I have visited Mt. Hermon Cemetery Oct., 2003.
My grandmother was Mary Matilda Lane, daughter of Juan Jones and Mortis
Lane. If you have any info concerning her, I would appreciate it.
