Important place nameinformation (especially for primaryresearch)

The “main” placeterms gives modern locationinformation.  But in many cases, the location'sname has changed since the event took place.

If so, I have entered thecontemporary place name appears before the currentname.

For church-basedevents, Geneanet displays the identifying information atthe beginning of the entry.

It may be 1) theparish (e.g., St. Thomas); 2) thedenomination (ref. = Reformed, luth. = Lutheran, rom. cath. = Roman Catholic, fr. ref. = Huguenot/French Reformed);3) a combination of both.

For example: [Friedburg,Hztm. Niederbayern, rom. cath.], [Lengau-Friedburg,Braunau, Oberösterreich, Austria] The first three termsgive the place name in 1713 and the religion; the last four termsgive the modern place name.
