My name is Mary Frances (Reynolds) Eggleston. I have recently recieved the information you shared with Julianne Brazina in 2008 regarding Hynford/Hyndford Reynolds (father of Margaret Jane Reynolds who married Levi C. Reynolds. I am a member of the Reynolds clan from Pittsylvania and Henry Counties Virginia and have just recently found the connection of that branch with the Pennsylvania/ Maryland branch. Levi, it seems was raised in Pittsylvania County by Allen Gilmer Reynolds and Martha Ann Jackson, his wife and returned to Lancaster Co., Pa. at age 23 to family and later migrated to Cecil Co. I have extensive information on the Virginia clan, but have only what you sent Julianne for the Pennsylvania line. I am writing to you to see if you have other information on the Pennsylvania line of the Reynolds that you would be willing to share with me.
I plan a trip from Fredericksburg, VA to Maryland in the spring and would appreciate any suggestions as to where I may obtain further documentation or evidence of this line. I have corroborated some of the information I received at a web site of the Quaker marriages in Southern Lancaster Co., but am at a loss for the next step.
Thank you for your help.
