I am David Mason and am married to MarianJosephine Minjoot, aka Anne, who was born in Malacca, Malaysia. Sheis a Dutch Eurasian, with Burgher ancestry on her maternal side.She is the direct descendent of a Dutch ancestor, Bastiaan Minjoot,who travelled on the VOC ship, Domburg, to Melakka(Malacca) in 1692. Bastiaan Minjoot is the progenitor of all theMinjoots, who live in the Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia areas.Descendants have now spread worldwide to countries such asAustralia, U.K., and U.S.A. All the records in my tree are eitherlinked directly or through marriages. I have extended coverage tohelp others with their research.
