At the age of 17, mentioned as a scholar, Emmaline lived in St Giles (Newcastle) at Elizabeth Cranston’s house with 2 of her sisters Gerturde 16 and Lilian 14, and with David Young Clark, 23, who will later mary her youngest sister, Ethel. In the 1939 census, Emmaline is mentioned as living in East Elloe, Lincolnshire, age 76, single and incapacitated. She passed away in April 1949 in Spalding, Lincolnshire.
