COMMENTS:

1. Identity of Adkin as a child of Richard Upshaw Sr. is determined by recognizing that Richard Sr. & Forrest Tinsley Upshaw (brothers) were in Walton Co. at the same time (1830s) and the identities of all of Tinsley's children are known, so the remaining ones appearing in Walton Co. records must be children of Richard Sr. or Jr., depending on their ages.
