Abraham Leibenguth petitioned the court aso ne of the sons of George Leibenguth, late of Lehigh Township, yeoman. He was a minor above the age of 14 with no guardian appointed to take care of his perso n or estate. Jacob Andreas of Lehigh Township was chosen and appointed bythe c ourt. Northampton County, Pa. Orphan Court records, Book #9, p.91:
On apetiti on filed by "Philip Leibengood, one of the sons and heirs of George Leibengood , late of Lehigh township in the County of Northampton and commonwealth of Pennsylvania, deceased, was read representing that the petitioner's said father d ied intestate, leaving a widow named Magdalena, and issue, to wit,the petition er, Jacob, Peter, Nicholas,
George, Henry, Daniel, John, Abraham,Magdalena (de ceased), who had been intermarried with John Leibenger and leftissue (the numb er unknown), Mary married to George Single, Susanna (deceased) who had been intermarried to Conrad Klinetop and left issue (the number unknown), Elizabeth married to Peter Eckert, Kratel married to Peter Kuntz, and
Christina married to John Beck." Abraham was named in Magdalena's Will, Northampton County, Pa., File
