I am working on solving the adoption of Vera Estella Turner,born 1891 in Janesville, Rock County, Wisconsin. Her father wasAlmous Turner, who appears to be descended from William Turner andAnn Shirley of Buckinghamshire, England.

I have uploaded to Geneanet the DNA for Vera's daughter, PollyAnderson. Polly's father, Louis Sidney Anderson, was the son ofCarl H. Anderson and Pauline Christenson/Peterson (Pedersdatter),both of whom were born in Norway. The Pederson line comes fromTelemark.
