    - http://familysearch.org - FamilySearch - Unconfirmed Genealogical Data for Maria Foscue by Roberta Thomas Scott
    Comment:

Roberta Thomas Scott created a web page and placed much of Preston's biography in this page. See the source entitled "Preston's Biography written by his son Daniel". Roberta adds her own "Short Life Sketch of Each of His Three Wives." The following are genealogical items from these sketches. Unfortunately, Roberta provides no evidence for them. We can't say that the data is wrong or that there exists no evidence. We are merely saying that Roberta doesn't provide this evidence. It should be used as a guideline to search for evidence, and, in many cases, we will assume that it is true until proven false.

    Comment:

Preston Thomas' biography, written by his youngest son, Daniel, contains a wealth of genealogical information. Unfortunately, Daniel provides no evidence for much of it. The following is a enumeration of this unconfirmed data. We can't say that the data is wrong or that there exists no evidence for it. We are merely saying that Daniel doesn't provide this evidence. It should be used as a guideline to search for evidence, and, in many cases, we will assume that it is true until proven false.
