Died 1808 at Nacodoches, Texas son of ANTOINE GIL CESAR FLORES and JUANNA MARIE ANTOINETTE YBARBO who were also nativesof the Presidio at Los Adais. JOSE FLORES was one of the 100 members of families who were ordered to evacuate Los Adais in 1769. He was also one of the Establishers of Nacodoches, Texas 1779. ANTOINE GIL CESAR FLORES and JUANNA MARIE ANTOINETTE FLORES, nee, YBARBO. ANTOINE GIL CESAR FLORES born 1728 at the Presidio de Los Adais he was the son of ETHIER MANUEL FLORES OR JOSEPH FLORES both of whom were soldiers at the Presidio de Los Adais when it was established in 1721. I am inclined to believe that his father is MANUEL FLORES because MANUEL FLORES' name is mentioned often in Early Los Adais History, whereas JOSEPH FLORES' name does not. However JOSEPH FLORES was in the Los Adais area as late as 1748. There is also a possibility that MANUEL FLORES and JOSEPH FLORES was one and the same person as an entry of the Council of Commerse of the West in 1733 reports the arrest of MATIE GIL YBARBO and MANUEL JOSEF FLORES were arrested at Pointe Coupee (Cut off Point) near Present day Pointe Coupee, LA for not having a permit to trade in Louisiana. The children of ANTOINE GIL CESAR FLORES and JUANNA MARIE ANTOINETTE YBARBO were: 1. JOSE FLORES wed 1st ANNA MARIE GUERRERO and 2nd to Estafanee Equis. 2. PABLO FLROES, born 1751 at Los Adais. 3.
