Family trees of Lamusse, Langlois and Norval families

Thisinformation primarily covers the extended families of my paternal(Lamusse)and maternal (Langlois)families as well as the paternal family of my wife(Norval).

The Mauritianbranch of the Lamusse family descendedfrom Nicolas Marie Lamusse and AnneJeanne Le Muet who arrived in Mauritius from France on18 May 1816 aboard the ship "Jean Bart" captained by Lamare. Someof these families moved on to South Africa, Madagascar, Canada andAustralia.

TheLanglois family is descendant from Nicolas Langlois andBarbe Raux. Nicolas arrived on the French island ofReunion in about 1762 and the descendants moved on to Mauritius andSouth Africa.

The SouthAfrican branch of the Norval family are descendantfrom 2 of three brothers viz.Archibaldand John Norval whoarrived in South Africa from Scotland in 1817 as part of the MoodieSettlers.
