She was the daughter of Rev. Jurgen and Marie Ronnau Hansen, born at the Wall Lake parsonage near Hartford, S.D. She was one of 5 children.
She was baptized in infancy at Hartford, S.D. and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith at home, KS.
Jan. 28, 1918 she married John L. Blinde at Johnson, Ne. All of their married life has been spent in the Johnson Community. 2 sons were born to this marriage.
Mrs. Blinde and her husband, John, were involved in a serious automobile accident near Palmyra, NE. Nov. 10, 1972. She was rushed to Lincoln General Hospital where she died soon after admittance. Shehad reached the age of 76 years, six months and twenty five days.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Walter and Edward Hansen.
Surviving were her husband, John L. Blinde. sons, Dr. Alfred R., Leonard O. Blinde, four grandsons. two brothers. Otto Hansen, and Ralph Hansen.
Services were held at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Johnson, NE. Nov. 13, 1972. Interment in the church cemetery.
