Nom Prefixe: Général

 Brigadier-General Léon Rheims (1873-1962). The latter was wounded at Verdun where he served as a battalion commander then after the war was head of the technical engineering section of the Ministry of War, who from 1933-34 served as President of the French Jewish Scouts and is renowned for having predicted the ineffectiveness of the Maginot Line. As a Jew he was put on the retired list by the Vichy régime but was reappointed to his previous rank after the war.
