Individual Note

Charles Penny arrived on the 15 February 1820, on the Ship Aurora. The Aurora departed from Gravesend. He was travelling under the Sephton Party. He arrived in the Cape with his second wife Susannah and 3 children, 2 from his first marriage to Sarah Nunn, and 1 from his 2nd marriage with Susannah.
He was a member of Sephton's Party on the "Aurora", a new settler for the colony at Port Elizabeth.
