Edna J. Hultman, age 90, of Red Oak, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 1998 at the Montgomery County Memorial Hospital after an extended illness. Edna Jospehine Hultman was born July 17, 1908 in Omaha Nebraska, the daughter of Fredrick and Josephine Karlsson Swanson. She graduated from Omaha Technical High School and attended Omaha Business College. She united in marriage to Marvin Hultman on January 27, 1934 in Omaha, Nebraska. Edna was a homemaker and worked at Murphy Memorial Hospital and later as a receptionist for Dr. Sorensen's office. She was a member of the First Covenant Church, Red Oak Monday Club, and the American Cancer Society.Edna was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Marvin Hultman on March 26, 1997.Survivors include her three daughters; Joyce Meyer and her husband Dan of Billings, Montana, Patsy Norris of Red Oak, Iowa and Barbara Hultman Green of Chicago, Illinois; her son Marvin Hultman Jr and wife Barbara of Appleton, Wisconsin; 13 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.Services Held at First Covenant Church, Red Oak on August 17, 1998 at 10:30 a.m., Clergy, Rev. Monty Newton, burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Nyman.
